Hi there, I met the D45 in my guitar store. It was a very intense moment for me to play the guitar that all the good guys played. Everybody heard about its tonal beauty, but doing this experience by own is something special. I played some CSNY songs and I wonder how close it comes to the original sound just because of the guitar. Especially parts of Heart Of Gold starting about 09:50. People who say the high price is just because of the awful lot of abalone inlays have never played this guitar. The tellings and legends about that guitar seems to be true. I think the price about 6.700 รข‚¬ is worth that money. Its a new Custom Adirondack model. Further, I know there are already enough clips about the D45 with better playing (and better sound quality of course, a lot more bass, brilliance and sustain in natural sound) and so on, but i'm happy to share that visit with you, perhaps you can understand, if you listened to songs like this over and over again, all through your life, ! too, and then you finally hold the guitar in hands which so many of these songs were played with. Many thanks to the American Guitar Store Berlin. Special greetings to longlostgus!
